ARTURO FRANCO DIAZ

Architect, editor and occasional filmmaker. His work has focused on exploring the reality of Ibero-America and intervening in heritage. He is currently a permanent lecturer in the Department of Architectural Projects at ETSAM. His work has been recognized by the best national and international architecture and film awards on numerous occasions. His texts and works, including the various interventions in Madrid's old Matadero, have been widely published in internationally recognized magazines such as El Croquis, Domus, A+U, L'Architecture d'aujourd'hui, Arquitectura Ibérica, Diseño Interior, Detail, 2G, Arquitectura Viva, Architectural Digest, A+T, Tectónica, Summa+, ON diseño, China Architecture and Design, Bauwelt or Architectum, and have been on the cover of many of them. He was voted by the students at the I Compás de Oro as the Best Teacher at ETSAM in 2016, as well as being nominated in the other categories.
