We design the space we inhabit. In my sculpture, more than the isolated object, I'm interested in establishing a field of action within which something happens. Each element is only valid in its relationship with those close to it and its assigned space. They are microcosms of social, emotional and affective intention, where what is stored in our memory comes to the surface. Some of the wall sculptures are made up of sequences of elements which, when travelled through, give us the feeling of being in the presence of a narrative. The exhibition A minha versão dos factos expresses my complete freedom in conceiving and seeing the world. In a society full of rules that regularly provide stereotypes for us to follow, the artist must follow other paths.
