Bruce Bégout, a French philosopher and writer, has dedicated part of his vast published work to exploring various aspects of the urban world. Among the books he has published on the subject, this is the first Portuguese translation of Dériville. Derivative city. The situationists and the urban question. This short essay inaugurates CAPC's new collection, "Hermes and Hestia", and in it the author analyzes, in an original and profound way, the Situationists' relationship with the city. This analysis allows him to outline a convincing theory of architecture that is still relevant today.
