LIMNÓFILO is the title of the exhibition by Nuno Sampaio, the PICCOLINO Project's guest artist for April 2024. Starting from a symbolic principle of what sustains the reality of the values of a politically and humanly stagnant society, Limnófilo is a work that mirrors and crosses the five decades that mark the proper status of someone to be free. With the power of imagistic abstraction (not representational, but identificational), Limnófilo portrays the fading feeling of freedom, contemplating and honouring a nostalgic past.
