To all the poets who resisted.
And to the beauty we have lost.
Throughout the ages, many have used their words to fight against oppressive regimes, jeopardising their freedom and lives. Many have been tortured and killed.
If the ignominy doesn't end, the struggle will continue, and others will resist. And others will fall. The installation pays homage to all the fearless poets by remembering some of them.
May the word one day win and restore all lost beauty.
