Sem Casa Para Onde Fugir is a performance that takes place inside a knit garment, with room for two people and two metres between them. It shows the artist's insatiable desire to express herself about an experience that is her own but certainly shared with many others. It deals with the housing crisis in Lisbon and Portugal today. It portrays the despair of being forced to share the same roof with those we no longer desire. It describes the attempt to escape, which often seems impossible, and the search for freedom, which appears to be a mere phantom, never to be reached.
